Tom (Guest) – Origin story for the wondrous Willy Wonka! Fun and fantastical story of following your dreams and ‘sticking it to the man’. Enticing from start to end, we get insight into the motivations behind the chocolate genius of Wonka and how he rises to fame together with his sidekicks and Oompa Loompa.

A different take on the Wonka story, that manages to maintain the quirkiness of the Characters. All round feel good holiday special, that’s both easy to watch and sing a long to. The musical numbers are nostalgic and bring the story to life.

Great cast headed up by Timothée with witty dialogue and colorful encounters. Light hearted and fun, you’ll certainly get lost in the Wonka fantasy and leave the cinema smiling. 8/10
