Garfield has an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father, a scruffy street cat who draws him into a high-stakes heist.
Review
Versha (Guest) – I used to be a fan of the comic strip and cartoon and wasn’t sure what to expect from the movie. It was great to see Garfiled, Odie and Jon come to life in an actual movie but the story was lacking.
There is the usual theme of Garfield ruling the home and having all the food he wants to eat but the storyline was mediocre and the characters were average with absolutely zero development or any reason to care about them. Garfield gets to meet his long lost father and and he gets kidnapped along with Odie and his father and the story then turns to a heist situation, which seems so unnecessary.
I don’t think the movie was engaging enough and I’m not even sure if kids will enjoy this movie. 4/10
