Jordan is a take-no-prisoners tech mogul who torments her long-suffering assistant, April, and the rest of her employees on a daily basis. She soon faces an unexpected threat to her personal life and career when she magically transforms into a 13-year-old version of herself right before a do-or-die presentation.
Jordan will now need to rely on April more than ever — if April is willing to stop treating Jordan like a 13-year-old child who has an attitude problem.
Review
Gerard (Guest Reviewer) – ‘Little‘ stars TV actors Issa Rae, from ‘Insecure‘ , and 14-year old, Marsai Martin, from ‘Black-ish‘. I love comedies, but not sure if this one hit the mark. Some of the jokes felt a bit forced, and performances slightly on the cheesy side.
The plot reminded me a bit of Tom Hanks’ ‘BIG‘ (1988), but lacks all of that movies charm. That being said, it’s a light family comedy (with a typical moral at the end), but it doesn’t really demand being taken too seriously.
As some Marvel/DC movies are PG10 or PG13, you’d struggle to get the entire family into one viewing, but not this film. You could probably watch it as a family. The raunchiest thing that happens in ‘Little‘ is some topless male dancing, but not on a ‘Magic Mike‘ level, I guess 🤷🏽♂
Popcorn movie for the weekend, good for a few laughs. 6/10
