When I played the first Rage a good few years ago, I was taken with its setting and the different enemy types you could encounter in the wasteland. What I wasn’t too taken with were its story and characters and I felt like the shooting wasn’t as good or enjoyable as it could be. When Rage 2 was announced, I was somewhat hesitant in jumping on the hype wagon but also optimistic because I was ready for a sequel that would redeem the first game’s misstepping.
Rage 2 looks to create a more entertaining experience. There are definitely some improvements that make it a whole lot of fun, but there are also some issues that stop it from being truly great.
