Mortal Kombat fans must be pretty happy right now. MK11 is looking fresh with the Joker joining the roster of fighters, and James Wan producing the much-wanted R-rated Mortal Kombat film we deserve.  So what more can they can they ask for? How about a full feature-length animated film. Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge looks to fill the gap until the live-action film drops.

 

The film has all the standard tropes from the franchise with Lord Raiden bringing the Earthrealm defenders together to stop Shang Tsung from winning the tournament and claiming the realm as his trophy. It looks like a decent bit of fun. The real question is if it will feature that iconic track at any point.
