Stranger Things 3 is finally here and with most of you having binged your way through the stellar third season in a single sitting. Today, we’re diving into the realm of spoilers as we take a look at some of the standout moments from this season. I’ve chosen five moments, in no particular order, that really stuck with me after the post-credit scene rolled…
Suzie and Dustin sing Neverending Story
With the world in danger, there’s always time for a duet! This duet had many characters highly confused but had the audience singing along!
Billy’s sacrifice
Billy had been quite the douche for season 2 and 3, and was never looking to be a fan favourite. He might not have become a fan favourite, but he has a pretty solid send off in the finale. With the help of Eleven, Billy is reminded that he wasn’t a bad kid, which prompts him to sacrifice himself to protect Eleven from the Mind Flayer.
Erica’s Gambit
Erica knows her worth and isn’t afraid to show it. When the Scoop Troop are forced to enlist her help she lays down her demands and isn’t willing to budge. It’s one of the funniest scenes in the series and will remind us that you can’t spell America without Erica.
Alexei’s Death
A genuinely heartbreaking moment in the series, Alexei endears himself to the audience pretty quickly. He may be Russian but he loves the simply things in life. It makes it all the more heartbreaking when he is cut down while just enjoying the carnival. Rest well, Alexei
The Post Credit
The post credit leaves us with questions for the next season. Is Hopper alive? Where did they find this Demogorgon? What will the Russians do next? There are a lot of exciting prospects for potential future seasons.
