REVIEW
The Chairman – Walking into this movie I had my fears that this movie would play into the the stereotypical “woman has lost her mind” trope. Thankfully this didn’t happen, Elizabeth Moss plays strung-out like no one else.
I can’t delve into the plot very much without spoiling this movie in every way. The highlights for me was the excellent camera work, and proof that a female lead can carry a horror without being a damsel in distress.
So, should you go see it? A strong, if not an enthusiastic YES! It is well paced, and most importantly scary. I have personal issues with ending (no spoilers) but that could just be me.
7/10
