Fallen is a romantic fantasy film directed by Scott Hicks, based on the novel of same name by Lauren Kate.
The film stars Addison Timlin, Jeremy Irvine, Harrison Gilbertson, and Joely Richardson.
“Storm” – This movie had so much potential but alas it falls FLAT on it’s face. If the directors sourced their reference material for supernatural teenage angst from the Twilight series then they definitely nailed it.
Incessant, vapid stare after stare, I desperately needed this to end. In what essentially is a love story, the actors are devoid of emotion, which I’m hoping is due to direction and is not the entire range of their acting ability. Cannot wait for the #HonestTrailer Trainwreck/10
“Natalie” (Guest) – I have never read “Fallen” by Lauren Kate and was quite eager to watch this new paranormal romance movie. The movie starts off with an air of mystery, invoking the questions: WHO is that? Why are they there? I thought: “oh boy, this is going to be good’. I was left sorely disappointed.
For the most part, I found the movie distracting as they frequently switched from the present to the past. It was disorganised. There were too many plots to cover, which plays as big a role as the main plot and it continues in this fashion throughout the film. I didn’t like this movie and if I had a choice, I wouldn’t have spent money on a ticket. I would be surprised if they filmed a second movie. TERRIBLE/10
